Brow lamination is much newer. It evolved from lash lifting technology, which itself came from hair perming techniques developed in the early 20th century. In the early 2010s, Eastern European beauty technicians adapted lash lifting formulas for brow hairs, creating the first lamination treatments. The term "lamination" was chosen because the process leaves brows looking smooth, flat, and sealed — like laminated paper.

The Combination (Late 2010s):
By the late 2010s, salons worldwide began offering lamination and tint together as a complete brow transformation. Today, they remain one of the fastest-growing beauty services globally.
